New course for 2005, owned and operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority. This Bill Love designed course is on the site of the old Lorton prison. Fortunately for the golfers of Northern Virginia the prisoners have long since been moved to new homes. Great bit of land for a golf course and very lucky to have a spot so close to the heart of northern Virginia where a new course could be built.
